Laser Devices, Inc. began as a vision over 40 years ago. In 1968, Heinz Thummel had just patented the first Helium Neon aiming laser designed for small arms weapons. Over the next decade his technical expertise, innovation and focus on manufacturing quality products in the U.S.A. led to the founding of Laser Devices, Inc. in 1979 with the world's first laser gun sight, Laserscope.

Over the past 30 years, Laser Devices has supplied professionals with superior products. We assemble 100% of our products in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Monterey, California. Our aiming lasers, laser-based training systems and tactical lights are currently serving U.S., NATO and international allies' Military, Law Enforcement and Special Forces personnel who demand tough, virtually indestructible products. From our homeland borders to the mountains of Afghanistan and the deserts of Iraq, our products deliver the reliability that literally spells the difference between life and death.

Laser Devices is a full-service company and holds several patents for its products. We engineer and manufacture sophisticated electro-optical devices from concept design through completion using the latest technology and custom made parts. In addition, we design and manufacture OEM modulated laser transmitters for companies throughout the world.

Laser Devices is an approved Government Contractor for multiple agencies within the U.S. Department of Defense and also serves the FMS market. In addition, we are the sole source of the AN/PEQ-15A, part of the Multi-Functional Aiming Light Contract awarded by the U.S. Army.

Laser Devices' aiming lasers feature the brightest visible lasers allowed by law. Our rugged, precision machined aircraft aluminum housings are hard black anodized and meet military standards for reliability in the most extreme environmental conditions. Currently in service on every type of small arms weapon system, our aiming lasers provide pin-point accuracy and stay aligned while firing magazine after magazine of military grade ammunition.

Our tactical lights are simply the most durable and reliable that money can buy. Available with either a high pressure Xenon lamp that produces 95 lumens of stunning white light or an extremely powerful LED that produces an intense 150 lumens of blinding white light, our lights are fully operational from 20,000 feet above sea level to 66 below the surface. Designed with a patented recoil absorbing head and lamp assembly, our lights can be safely mounted on any weapon from a .50 caliber Barrett rifle to a .22 caliber pistol.

Additional products include laser borelights, the LaserBlaster-Z dry fire training system and the Accur-Aim laser target. We also carry a complete line of mounts, holsters, pouches and all of the accessories needed to customize our products to meet any mission requirement.
