I had an old Gryphon Electronics Professional Laser Sight. Eventually it needed repair but the manufacturer had gone out of business and no one I called would attempt to repair the laser. I called Laser Devices and got Raul. He was courteous and said he would be happy to look at the scope. He called me back and told me he tried but the old Gryphon couldn't be repaired. He suggested buying a replacement scope, the LAS/TAC Laser with remote cable and pressure pad. I trusted his recommendation, bought the laser pointer, and have been happy with its performance. I've recently returned from deployment in Iraq having served in Combat Arms Unit conducting missions in the theatre of operations. I personally carried one of your M16 Model AR-2A lasers while in theatre. The first night operation I used the device, I was absolutely amazed by the range the device could be used at as well as the daytime capabilities. Your laser devices greatly helped me and my soldiers in critical combat missions and were very durable in the hostile environment and the manner in which they were employed.

Your DBAL-A2 is tremendous piece of kit. This device is becoming well known in both Iraq and Afghanistan and many units are asking for contact information and spec's. I typically tell them they would be far better served by 'canning' the AN-PEQ-2, which is heavy and too large. The performance of the DBAL-A2 is incredible given the size and is perfect for directing Close Air Support.

Our Benelli M1 Super 90 is a fantastic shotgun for K9 operations. Our T&E of the LAS/TAC laser demonstrated a dramatic increase in our speed and accuracy when engaging targets in low and no light conditions.The laser doubled the speed of the first shot, shrank the group size in half and allowed for an increased field of vision. Works well with NVG's, too.

Myself and another member of my team both came out of the Army Special Forces and had extensive use with laser aiming devices such as the PEQ-2 (IR) and the PEQ-5 (Visible). Your DBAL combines the benefits of both IR and Visible aiming lasers into a small, rugged and simple to operate device. It is a far superior system to the ones we were issued. Laser quality is amazing out of a single battery device. Even when designating targets several hundred yards away, the DBAL is able to provide enough downrange energy to emit a ‘splash' on the target, thus allowing accurate engagement. I evaluate military and law enforcement guns and related equipment for several magazines both in the US and overseas and get to see a lot of gear of all types. I have used several lights from different manufacturers when I am on duty as a reserve police officer, but the best I have seen is Laser Devices LAS/TAC 2 with the LED head. This light is the brightest I have ever used coupled with an unequaled light pattern. The LAS/TAC 2 has an incredibly bright symmetrical center spot surrounded b1y an equally well focused but less intense corona that enables me to illuminate and clear a wider area when investigating alarms or 911 intruder calls. Whether I use it as a hand held light or mounted on the dust cover of my service pistol, the LAS/TAC 2 is indispensable.

Rugged, reliable, waterproof—for sure! My OV-1 LED never leaves my pocket. Which is exactly where my wife recently found it when she pulled a pair of my pants out of the dryer! Needless to say, my trustworthy, handheld LED works flawlessly even after a trip through the washer and the dryer. Plus, when I unscrewed the housing to check the battery compartment it was as dry as a bone.

Recently I redeployed back from Iraq, but while I was there I was issued one of the best flashlights I have used operationally—the OPERATOR OP-6. Thanks for your support. You made my job and my life much easier while I was in Iraq. The AR-2A laser works better than I imagined. When we arrived in Iraq it was the wild, west and whoever had the most weapons had the power. I was on the night shift on patrol and used the laser to help designate targets for my fire teams. We also used it to warn people that they were under surveillance. It was so effective it saved lives—not only my squads, but Iraqi citizens too. Your DBAL-A2 is outstanding! This is the most valuable piece of equipment on my weapon and a MUST for any Law Enforcement or Military agency that operates in the dark. The accuracy of the aiming lasers is dead on and the IR illuminator floods the entire area we need to operate in. The Low and High power modes are a prime tool for Stealth operations, CQC "room clearing" and Field ops. This device is rugged, durable and can take on the punishment of any hostile environment. Its feather-light weight and compact size make an unnoticeable difference in weapon weight. The A.R.M.S. Throw Lever Mount is great for rapid attachment and removal.
